Merlin Video Productions Animated Ident & Fanfare Well, you do want everyone to know you have a professionally produced video! Every wedding is different: the people, the venue, the service, what we are allowed to do. We obviously have to be discreet during the formal proceedings, and sometime we have little or no control over camera positions. But if you follow the video clips below, imagine that these are of your wedding, at your location(s), with your guests, you should gain some idea of how your wedding video will look. Please note, these clips have been reduced in size and heavily compressed to make them quick to view over the Internet. You will need broadband to view them, and of course they do not show the full digital quality of the originals. |
Opening Title and Sequence The
opening title dissolves into a scene-setting sequence of stills from the
video, As
an alternative opening, we can if you wish use any still
photographs provided by you from your family archives, perhaps of the
couple at various ages in their childhood. |
Opening Scenes The
story then starts at the bride's home, and/or with the arrivals of the wedding party, We will also shoot
footage as the bride enters the church, register office, or wherever, |
The Wedding Ceremony The wedding ceremony itself is, of course the highlight of the whole story! The pledging of vows, the exchange of rings, these are the
magic moments |
The Formalities And of course, the formal signing of the register is covered. You are now man and wife! |
The First Public Appearance The
first thing you do together as a married couple is to take a walk down
the aisle, |
Greeting the Outside World ....and emerge into the remains of the day to greet the world as married couple. We
then start shooting the more relaxed events of the day, including any
scenes |
Friends and Family, and the Photographer too Your
family and friends will be milling around, mingling, chatting, laughing,
taking photographs, We combine fly-on-the-wall techniques to get candid footage, as well as involving people in shots where appropriate. |
And of course, the Stars of the Show But
this production has two super-stars, and we don't take our eyes off them
for a moment. |
The Jesters and the Antics But
look out! There is bound to be a gang lying in wait with the
confetti. |
That First Journey At last, it's into your automobile and off to the reception, which has been planned lovingly and carefully. Much fun to be had, and maybe a few tears to be shed..... Your wedding video will be a combination of serious events, plus all the fun of the day. |
The Fun and Tears of the Reception Of course, the remaining ceremonials have to be performed. The cake has to be cut, toasts must be proposed, a kiss may be given. And those unforgettable speeches have to be delivered. The five minutes of fame has arrived, and they won't be forgotten so long as you hold the video evidence! We stay on to record the fun and frivolity of the party. This is where we get to know your friends and family, interact with them to capture you fun and happiness of the day. And finally capture the departure of the happy, and no doubt exhausted, couple |
